Magdalena Wypukol completed her master degree in Bioinformatics at Freie Universität Berlin in Germany. She wrote her master thesis Deciphering the Synergy of ECG, Pulse and Body Surface Temperature using Open Source Hardware and Software at the Center for Space Medicine and Extreme Environments and rejoined the research group in 2017. During her research internship, she worked i. a. on a hardware system for core body temperature measurement.
Her scientific interests include: Rapid Prototyping, Arduino Technology, Hardware Development, 3D-Printing, Data Acquisition and Analysis, and Circadian Rhythmicity.
She was awarded the “Best Health Hack-Prize” (Science Hack Day 2016).
