Julian was enrolled in the Medical school of Berlin, Charité in 2008.
He joined the research group Space Medicine and Extreme Environments in 2010 during a seminar paper about thermophysiology and won the Nathan-Zuntz-Award 2010.
Later in 2011 as a doctoral student of Prof. Gunga, he started his doctoral thesis about Multi compartment analysis of body composition in patients with chronic heart failure in cooperation with the Department of Cardiology, Charité – Campus Virchow Klinikum.
His scientist heart beats for body composition, heart failure and thermophysiology.
